Another print featuring my favourite tree - the Oak. Often we associated the oak with a masculine energy - but I wanted to explore the feminine with this design. A wise oak spirit - steady and calm, printed in a beautiful dark green.
I copy my original drawing onto lino, then carve out the image. I hand print with oil based ink onto a beautiful handmade paper. This paper has lots of different flecks and texture which adds to the character of the final image
Original hand-carved linoprint
Printed by hand onto handmade textured paper
Oil based Inks
Each print is unique due to the nature of lino printing
Unframed
Paper size is approx A4
Colours will appear differently on different screens and monitors
